Juniper problem
I brought my Juniper bonsai in the house in early october. It has been doing great. Now it is starting to brown in areaas, the needles seem to be drying out ( yet the soil is kept moist) and I am getting some needles browning. The tree was bright green until about two weeks ago and now is a dull green. I feed it every two weeks with a liquid fertilizer.
Anyone know what is happening to this tree

Hi Tim,
I agree with Jason. Even though you see big box stores sell junipers like house plants, they're outdoor plants. They require a lot of light. If you are not able to place the Juniper outdoors, consider a placing it in a cold room basement - preferably on a window seal. You'll still need to water the plant. Without a cold dormancy period in winter, a juniper will die or become very sick as it is unable to rejuvenate.

where in the house is it exactly? juniper is an outdoor tree and has to go throught a cold/dormant period. my junipers are currently sitting in an igloo cooler.
ok, Thanks. I do have it on a lower level windowsill. SHould I move it back outside? If I do, how do I prevent the roots from freezing?
